Golden Interstar Universal Single LNB
An LNB, which stands for Low Noise Blocker is the device that sits at the end of the arm on a satelitte dish.
It's job is to convert blocks of high frequencies that are used in Satellites (usually in the gigahertz range) and amplify and convert them in to similar signals at a much lower frequency. This frequency can then be passed down a coaxial cable with minimal loss, to a Satellite Receiver. The low noise part of it's name is derived because it basically clears the block of waves (signal) of any unwanted interference (noise).
Over time the effectiveness of an LNB reduces and eventually to a point where it doesn't function at all. This can be caused by bad weather and general wear. The symptons can be poor reception, intermittant reception, missing channels and no reception at all.
The Golden Interstar Universal Single LNB is a very popular and impressive LNB, that will attach to most modern satellite dishes with a 40mm diameter clamp. The feed horn is 40mm and with a signal to noise ratio coming in at a very impressive 0.2db it means that the signal quality will also be very impressive.
This LNB can be used with all the popular satellites such as Astra, Eutelsat, Hot Bird etc and will work well with all the Sky services including HD.
This LNB has a single output, this will allow you to connect to a Satellite Receiver, Freesat Box etc.
