Konig Digital Satellite Receiver
The Konig Free To Air Digital Satellite receiver is a stunning feature laden offering from Konig and allows you to take advantage of the huge amount of free satellite channels that are available.
You don't need to subscribe to any service provider (eg Sky, Virgin etc) to take advantage of the Free To Air Satellite channels (FreeSat) but you will need to have access to a satellite dish or similar connection. If you are familiar with a Freeview box, then this receiver works in very much the same way, only with satellites and you will usually receive hundreds and possibly thousands more channels than you would with Freeview.
The built in USALS (Universal Satellites Automatic Location System) motor, blind scan search and DiSEqC (Digital Satellite Equipment Control) make locating many of the Freesat channels a breeze, the receiver is preprogrammed with all the available European satellites and if thats not enough it is capable of supporting up to 16 LNB's (Low Noise Blockers - a satellite reception component).
You can store all your channels in the 4000 channel memory bank and split them off in to organised favourites lists, it supports up to 32 of them!
The receiver also offers an UHF (Ultra High Frequency) modulator, coaxial digital output, teletext, EPG (Electronic Programme Guide) and subtitling.
The menu is easy to follow and supports 10 languages. All of the features are accessable by the included remote control.
We found that the receiver doesn't need to have a good signal to perform well and is an amazing piece of kit for the money.
