Konig Satellite Finder Kit

Have you ever wanted to align your own satellite dish and try out the different satellites?

This Konig satellite finder kit will help you do just that. Correct alignment to any satellite is essential for trouble free viewing and in order to do this you would need to set the azimuth of the dish, that is the east to west positioning (left to right) and the second is the elevation of the dish ( up and down angle).

In the kit you will find a compass and a satellite finder with a battery pack for powering the LNB (the feedhorn at the end of the satellite arm).

You can use the compass to find the general line of sight to the satellite you wish to connect to, although it will not give you an accurate alignment because of the earths magnetic force, but it will put you very close. To perfect the alignment you would need to connect the satfinder to the LNB and then you can use the battery pack to power the satfinder and the LNB (this takes 10 x AA batteries not included in the pack). Using an audible tone on the satfinder and a series of slight adjustments of the dish and you should be able to set yourself a perfect alignment. To set the elevation of the dish, the bracket which holds the dish in place usually has a scale on it making it easy to set.
